When naming my business, I wanted something more than just my name. I wanted a title that paid tribute to where I came from and honored my love for Maine—while also connecting to the essence of coaching.
The Golden Road in Maine is a massive logging road, made mostly of dirt, bumps, and wildlife. It’s often associated with Baxter State Park, Moosehead Lake, and its direct connection to Canada. Both Baxter State Park and Moosehead Lake are part of the backdrop of my most cherished childhood memories—camping trips, adventures with friends, long drives with my Grampy, and entire days spent in the water.
As an adult, it’s those same kinds of experiences—time in nature, connection with loved ones, moments of joy and presence—that I think of as Golden Moments. They’re simple, rich, and grounding. They make me feel alive, connected, and fully present.
Golden Road Coaching is about creating a life that’s full of those Golden Moments—no matter how big or small. It’s not about taking grand adventures every weekend; it’s about finding meaningful moments in everyday life that bring you back to yourself.
So for me, Golden Road Coaching is more than just a name. It’s a personal reminder—to keep creating my own Golden Moments, both in my career and in my life. And it’s an invitation for others to do the same.
